創発的研究支援事業「融合の場」第1回公開シンポジウム（AP市ヶ谷）にてプロジェクト内容の発表をしました（Link）。このイベントでは創発事業全分野の研究者（500名ほど）が全国14箇所の会場に集まり異分野研究の理解と融合研究を目的とした研究者交流を行うという壮大なイベントました。久しぶりのオンサイトでの交流かつ年代の近い研究者との交流ができ大変刺激をいただきました。（2022.6.30）

玉川大学脳科学トレーニングコース2022が終了しました

玉川大学脳科学トレーニングコース2022（6/9-11 玉川大学脳科学研究所）が無事に終了しました。3日間と短期間でありながら、実験計画、データ取得、解析まで一通りの実験サイクルを経験してもらえたと思います。特に今年度から「行動解析のための神経・筋活動解析」と「脳情報デコーディング」という項目を追加し、実際に目の前で記録したデータから運動意図をデコードすることに挑戦してもらいました。応募者多数のため選考することになり、参加できなかった方大変申し訳ございませんでした。来年も開催できると思いますので、是非ご参加下さい。（2022.6.16）

新学術領域「超適応」公募班に採択されました

研究課題「「超適応」を引き起こす神経回路の生成と操作」が新学術領域「超適応」の公募班に採択されました。ブレインマシンインターフェイスを用いた新しい身体への適応メカニズムを明らかにすることを目標としていて、自分にとっても新しい挑戦になります。(2022.04.01掲載) 

筋シナジーのニューラルネットワークモデルに関する研究成果がFrontiers in Systems Neuroscienceに掲載されました

複雑な運動の制御を単純化するモデルである「筋シナジー」が脊髄神経回路にどのように実装されているのかを調べるため、複数のニューラルネットワークモデルを比較したところ、均質な結合を持つニューロン集団を仮定するのではなく、多少のばらつきを持つニューロンの集団を仮定することで、これまで報告されてきた1)脳梗塞患者に対する筋シナジーの頑健さや2)サルで記録された脊髄介在ニューロンの生理学特性といった知見を統一的に説明出来ることがわかりました。(2022.04.01掲載) https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fnsys.2022.800628/full
